How to Delegate Your Purchase Order Approvals to Another User for a Time Period

If you are going on vacation or going to be unavailable to approve Purchase orders that get assigned to you during a certain period, you can set D365 to automatically delegate your Purchase orders to that user.

To set up Delegation, click the “Settings” (gear) icon in the top right corner and choose “User options

This will open the User options page.

Select the “Workflow” tab and choose the “Add” button in the Delegation area.

This will add a line to the Delegation area.

Choose the user you want to Delegate to, the Start date/time, End date/time, and check the “Enabled” checkbox.

When done, click the “Save” button in the top.

Your Purchase orders will now automatically delegate to the picked user during the time period. If you’ve specified an End date/time, the delegation will automatically end at a certain time.
