1. In order to allow users to view the access control cameras on their PCs, you will have to download the 2N IP Eye software. 2N IP Eye | 2N
2. After downloading, and installing, in your system tray you should see the application running, it's the eye icon.
3. In order for the software to connect to the device you will need two things. An IP address and credentials. The IP address can be retrieved from the the 2N Access Commander. Network/VPN connection required. Use your domain (@nelsonbrothers.net) credentials. Click the "Devices" section and find the device(s) you'd like to add and copy the IP address(es). The username/password should be set as "ipeye/ipeye". This is setup as part of the device install, but could me missed/setup incorrectly. To confirm this, click on the device, and select "configure hardware". Once the hardware page has loaded click Services->HTTP API->Account 1 as seen below. Insure the username/password is set as "ipeye".
4. Now that you have the IP address and username/password return to the IP Eye software. In the taskbar, find the icon and right click. Select "Settings...". Select "+ Add Camera", repeat for as many cameras as needed. Enter your IP address and description.
5. Click the "Credentials" lock icon for each camera installed and enter the username and password "ipeye".
6. Select the "Video calls" tab and set the resolution to 640x480, 15fps.
7. Select the "Surveillance" tab and set the Monitoring Windows for 1 x 1, 1 x 2, or however many cameras you've set up. Change the framerate to 15fps.
8. Select the "General Settings" tab and set the Application setting to "Run on startup". Click OK.
9. Right click on the icon in the taskbar again. If you've setup a single camera you can click the "Show %NAME%". If you've setup multiple cameras, you'll need to click "Show surveillance window". Depending on how many cameras you have setup you may need to right click on each window and arrange the cameras in the way the user prefers.
