If you need to update Asset counter (Engine mileage/hours) in D365, first navigate to

Asset management >> Assets >> All assets

This will open the All assets page in D365.

Find and select the Asset number you wish to update and click on "Counters" in the Ribbon menu.

This will open the Asset counters page for the selected Asset.

Click the "New" button at the top to add a new entry.

This will add a line in the counters grid below for the selected Asset.

Click the dropdown menu for the Counter field and choose what type of counter you're reporting (Miles or Hours)

Choose the date of the counter reading in the Registered column.

Enter the counter reading in the Aggregated value column. (Aggregated value is the total counter reading. The Value field is for adding a particular amount to the counter and shouldn't be used.)

Click the "Save" button at the top.

This saves your entry and should update the Totals column to match the Aggregated value.

Repeat these steps for other counter entries and for other assets.

Close the window when you are done.

There are a few different ways to get to the Asset counters page. The above method will get you there for a specific asset.

You can also get to the Asset counter page for an asset while working in a Work order.

In the Work order maintenance jobs fasttab, choose "Asset counters"

You can also access the page for ALL assets by navigating to
