How to Set a Customer on Credit Hold in D365

Open D365 and navigate to Accounts receivable >> Customers >> All customers

Find and open the Customer record you wish to change.

In the "Credit and collections" fasttab, in the "Collections" section, click the dropdown box for "Confirmation, delivery, and invoicing on hold" and choose the "Invoice" option.

This option will still allow Sales orders to be created, but not allow delivery documentation to be generated or inventory transactions to be posted.

If the customer record needs to be fully restricted from even creating Sales orders, choose the "All" option.

Click "Save"
