This computer is a shared computer, located on the north west desk in the Samoset. Currently NB-MZ01TMNJ.
Users log in individually and run the "Advanced Serial Data Logger" software. They then copy this data into an Excel worksheet to be printed. This makes a true kiosk deployment not possible.
Users who use this software also need to be membrers of the SAM Plant team. Once the users is in the group they prefer to have the "Lab Documents" folder synced from the document library. Additionally they like to have a shortcut created to this folder on the desktop, and a shortcut created straight to the "OPS Sheet WYTF"
The Advanced Serial Data Logger has a very specific setup. Dan Kinner is the contact for this setup, but once it's setup as a user on the computer it can be ran as any other user.
The one caveat is that the save location for the software is based on the logged in user. This makes saving the actual data from the software automatically to a SharePoint site impossible. However the users copy/paste out the relevant data so at this time it's not an issue.
