Navigate to D365.nelsonbrothers.net

Expand the Modules Navigation area

Navigate to Asset management >> Work orders >> All work orders

Click "New"

Enter a Work order number (NLLC work orders will auto-number)

For Work order type, choose "Employee Training"

For Description, choose the Employee training type description you are documenting.


For Asset, choose the Shop asset for the location the training was done.

For NLLC, choose from the following assets:

  • ALLN-Shop
  • SAMS-Shop
  • STPL-Shop

For NBMS, use the All Shop General asset.

For Warehouse(Shop), choose the shop where the training was done.

For Maintenance job type, choose "Employee Training"

For Maintenance job type variant, choose the type of training you are documenting.

Click "OK"

Click "Journals"

In the Hours fasttab, click "Add line"

For Resource, choose the employee who did the training.

Click "Select"

For Hours, type the total number of training hours.

Click "Save"

Click "Post journals"

Click "Update work order state"

Select the checkbox next to the "Completed" Lifecycle state.

Click "OK"

Choose the date the training was completed for Actual end date

Click "OK"
